Checking TRON Permissions in TronLink
TronLink shows your account's permission structure if you know where to look — here's what to check before assuming a wallet is under your full control.
Where permission settings live
TronLink's account settings include a permission management section where Owner and Active keys, and their weights and threshold, are listed. For an untouched account, this simply reflects the default: your own address as the sole key with a threshold of 1.
What TronLink does and doesn't warn you about
TronLink will prompt you when a transaction you're about to sign changes permissions. It won't retroactively warn you that an account you're importing — like one from a seed phrase someone gave you — already has altered permissions; that's something you have to check yourself.
A faster check
